I have been spending a lot time on the Big Island, my home town of Hilo for the past few months and even tho Kilauea has been erupting for over a month now I only had a few opportunities to go out there and witness Nature doing her thing.  She has been destroying the old and creating and building a new landscape.  Its a beautiful thing to witness, I was in AWE.  Here are a few shots I was able to get in Leilani before we had to get out of her way.  I am hoping I will be able to get another chance to photograph this amazing event again.
